Three founders, one vision

Our vision is to jointly enrich artists with a new category of color in addition to acrylic, watercolor, and oil colors, triggering pure color pure joy in them. Angelika Domenig has been active as an artist for decades. She has experimented a lot, thus developing a color that is ideally suited for every painting technique and is highly appreciated by acrylic painters, watercolorists, and oil painters. Together with the two co-founders, Philipp Domenig and Julia Wolfesberger, she founded Aquarylic. Since then, all three have been equally dedicated to our passion brand. It quickly became clear that the joy of color would become a central theme of the brand, so the slogan “pure color. pure joy.” was born. In addition, painting with our Aquarylic Color, due to its very high pigmentation and perfect flow properties, allows for a wide range of applications. Together we want to bring this color into the world – try it out, and you will be thrilled!

Angelika Domenig is the artist brain behind the Aquarylic brand. By artists for artists. She represents the brand to the outside world and is represented internationally at various academies and exhibitions. She is also the director of the Aquarylic Masterclass, an intensive course in which hobby and experienced artists are trained in nine modules (in the first year course). This training can be attended for up to three years if desired. Furthermore, she is the leader of various coachings and carries the Aquarylic technique into the world. She is also constantly developing her ideas to expand the Aquarylic product range.

Philipp Domenig aims to advance Aquarylic at a fast and profitable pace. With previous work experience in management consulting in the financial sector, he has a particular eye on liquidity and various financial ratios within the company. Optimizing processes in repetitive systems and thereby bringing the recipes and, ultimately the quality of all products to new heights on a daily basis is his passion. In addition, he was able to gain experience in metropolises such as London and Seoul in recent years.

Julia Wolfesberger has studied her areas of responsibility “thoroughly” through her studies in communications and media design, marketing and e-business as well as digital business management. She takes care of the website’s content, as well as content planning as well as creation together with Lorenz. Campaign management across all platforms and its operational execution are her primary tasks.
