airbrush technique with aquarylic

Roger Hassler, a recognized expert in the airbrush field, discovered our Aquarylic Colors via social media. His experiences and insights, which he subsequently shared in his “Airbrush Step by Step” magazine, issue 88, shed light on the unique properties and versatility of our colors in application. In a YouTube video (see below) he shows how the Aquarylic Colors can be used in the airbrush technique.

This is what Roger Hassler says about the Aquarylic Color:

aquarylic color as effect color for airbrush

Aquarylic Color is a versatile effect paint that is ideal for mixing techniques. For use in an airbrush with a nozzle of 0.2 to 0.3 mm, the paint should be slightly diluted with water. This dilution makes it transparent and silky matt and ensures a fine spray pattern.

The airbrush technique can be used to create beautiful color transitions. The device can be easily cleaned with water after use, although standard airbrush cleaners also deliver very good results.

flexibility of the color

The Aquarylic Color shows its flexibility on various surfaces such as airbrush paper, synthetic paper and illustration board by being easy to erase and scrape.

Although the paint is not intended as a replacement for classic airbrush acrylic paints, it enables the expansion of the color spectrum in the airbrush technique. A characteristic feature of Aquarylic Color is its glossy finish when applied directly, which makes it possible to create specific accents and highlights in works of art.
