our colors and their properties

aquarylic color

Our aquarylic color is versatile and thus stands out as a unique painting medium. The consistency of the color is relatively liquid and creamy. You can combine the color with your acrylic technique. The aquarylic color is also very popular with watercolorists because it behaves similarly to watercolor on watercolor paper. The aquarylic color runs after the water, just like the watercolors. You can also combine watercolors and the Aquarylic Color. These bring more intensity to your artwork. Oil painters also like to experiment with aquarylic colors in combination with oil colors.
On the one hand as underpainting, and on the other hand also over the dried oil color. Some artists apply our aquarylic color together with the oil color on the painting. The aquarylic color is suitable for glazing, as well as opaque color applications (depending on the color tone).  The color dries to a semi-gloss finish in the glazed state, and the pure remains glossy. This counterplay looks very exciting on the finished artwork.

We have some artworks by watercolorists and oil painters also on our inspiration page for you to view.

acrylic color

Our acrylic color is a high-quality artist color. The consistency of the color is creamy and smooth. It can be brushed, spatulaed, poured, and is very versatile. When dried, the color is semi-gloss. The acrylic color is also characterized by its delayed drying behavior so that the color can be applied very well.

the unique characteristics of our colors

When applied glazed, our colors pigment partly also in a second color. On our product page of the colors, we have made a video for each individual shade. We show the color application and also the dried look. Examples are sepia, which pigments out orange or gray blue dark, which pigments out green/bluish. In the pure state, the colors remain in their basic tone, and when diluted, the experiment with pigmentation begins. Our artists love this play of colors.

The aquarylic color, as well as the acrylic color, is also very suitable for pouring. When pouring, we dilute the paint with water, depending on how intense the color tone should be.
